Marketing / Content Development summer intern 2019

Our little startup is getting so mature these days, it's recruiting international interns!
We're looking for 1 or 2 ambitious and open minded, hustlers to work part or full-time. Mainly at our office in Guangzhou, China for 2 - 3 months & (potentially) 1 month in Chiang Mai, Thailand - this summer.
For those candidates out of school, there will be the possibility of a long-term position at the end of the internship.
So Who Are We?
Source Find Asia is a manufacturing consulting startup based in Southern China.
My business partner ChinaMike and I started the company out of our apartment, while I was teaching English part-time in China.
In the 3+ years since, we've graduated to an office downtown, 5 employees (2 full-time, 1 part-time locals & 2 part-time online), managing orders worth 6 & 7 figures (USD) and a dynamic portfolio of products we've made.
We develop and implement time tested strategies tailored to a client's supply chain.
Whether it’s research and insight into new markets, purchasing and manufacturing solutions, product development, or entry into dynamic Asian markets, Source Find Asia provides a host of consulting services that fit their physical product business.
On top of our “critically acclaimed” Source Find Asia YouTube Channel :P we host a fun and informative podcast on international business, lifestyle, crowdfunding and manufacturing called the Made in China Podcast.
What Can You Expect?
The cultural and business experience of a lifetime working in our manufacturing consulting startup based in Southern China.
Not only will you get to create & execute marketing strategies targeting an international audience & learn how actual products that the world uses are made, but you'll also have the chance to make connections with titans within the IoT, tech and manufacturing space (through our network) and travel around Southern China (and potentially Northern) visiting manufacturers.
You'll see how to literally take a rough concept/drawing and bring it to reality through manufacturing.

Primary Job Duties (Content Development):
*Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
*Assist in managing & reviewing content created by our Podcast & Video editors in line with company guidelines or SOPs.
*Assist in generating original audio & video content for podcast, YouTube and social media platforms.
*Identify & compile existing content to be re-formatted for email marketing purposes.
*Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench-marking, messaging and audience identification.
*Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
*Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
*Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
*Your first task will be to include the term "#hustle" somewhere in your application
*Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information..
Secondary Job Duties (Assistant Event Coordinator):
*Create advertisements for summer meetup event
*Communicate with active meetup groups and co-working spaces with SE Asia focus
*Setup guest spots for S.F.A. on podcast and YT channels with similar content
*Research and establish Chiang Mai summer meet up venue
*Responsible for setting up additional services for event
*Help organize curriculum & guest speakers for the event

COMPENSATION:
*Commission + Accommodation Stipend in Guangzhou.
*All travel & accommodation expenses covered when traveling for business (Incl the one month in Chiang Mai, Thailand)
